yourself to your sibling
and thought you were adopted?

let me share a story with you
since i just told it yesterday
ever heard the story of 三爷伯， Mr. 孝子爷?

Mr.三爷伯 was actually a hardcore gambler when alive
he lives with his mother
so everyday when he's gambling day and night
his mother does chores and cooks for him
one night, he dreamt that he won a lot of gold
and in his dream his mother passed away
but he din give it much of a thought

Soon, he suddenly won a lot of money
like never before
his neighbour came by and inform him
that his mother is very sick
but he's never been in such winning streak
so he continued gambling
a while later, the neighbour returned
and tell him his mother is dying
should be return and hear his mother's last words
he was so involved in his winning
he told the neighbour he would finish up soon
when he arrived home, his mother passed away
and he was so upset he cried for 3 days and died

his filial piety touched the heavens
and jade emperor gave him the title 三爷伯
his statue can be found in temples
a crying man wearing a blue cloak
holding a lantern which has a "孝" word written on it
and the other hand a white feather duster thingy



why did i share this story?
cos even a stupid gambler can become a god/diety
with his mother's unconditional love for her gambler son
i can only be a demon king
